Pics of filming...

Here is some pictures of the location in which I shot the last piece of footage for the music video that im creating. Also, there is some further pictures of the costume that the artist was wearing on the day and finally ive posted a picture of some of my own personal equipment to assist in the production of the filming to make it easier for the dancers to dance/ perform to.

Filming Today!

Filming today for the last time hopefully. Ive orginised the people that i will require to help with the filming such as dancers and the artist. Ive booked the hall for the break time so that the filming can go ahead Ive also got the last of the costumes sorted.

Filming the last 15 secs...

This is the last small amount of filming that I need to do which I will finish in the coming week. I need my fellow class mates and my artist to perform a small dance for about 30seconds to ensure that I have enough footage to fill the remander of the video with it. Also, as I need to create a specific style for the video so, I need to take a rnage of high and low angled shots to make the dance numbers very upbeat and fast to match the song speed.

On the front cover you can see that I chose a range of bright colours that would represent the digi pack's in a particular way for example mine is set to be happy, energetic and colourful. I used these colours also because my targeted audience is teenage girls meaning that the colours that i have chosen had to be feminine and very eye-catching to match the emotions of the song and video too. Also, I chose to make the artist the most eye-catching because i found that my audience would relate better to her rather than the range of colours because she looks like an ordinary girl which I think allows my audience to connect better with the artist, song and video.

On the back of the digi pack I chose a simple design to allow the back to look just as eye-catching as the front because nothing but text would be shown on the back meaning the back would look very plain and boring unlike the front without adding colour and a design to it. Therefore, I added a design to it to make it appeal more to the audience. The design is a range of sized circles that are in similar colours to the font colours on the first page.

The left inside of the digi pack I chose to take some pictures of the artist that was featured in the video too as I found that it needed to have some more picture in it but rather than on the back I wanted them on the insdie to make the insdies look just as eye-catching as the outer.

The right inside of the digi pack I left quite simple for exmaple I used the same desgin background as i have for the back of the digi pack so that they match throughout the 4 side of it.

Didi Pack 3...

This is the third and final post of my Digi Pack as I have now finished the full product. Also, I will show the full finished product and I will explain the key features of the cover back cover and insides in the next post...

What remains...

The coursework that remains is no much now as I have completed the digi pack and started the website and I only have 15sec to fill of my video. This means that I can concentrate on building my website as I find this the most interesting of the 3 as I can customise the hole website and not just a banner or two.

Completed Digi Pack...

I have now completed the digi pack that i have hand drawn in a previous post and it is looking better on screen than paper the colours i chose work together to target my audinece and the images that i have taken look great.

Hand Drawn Digi Pack...

1) The title and name of the digi pack and is the name of the song for the video. I chose the colour pink for the title as it is a feminine colour that relates to he video too.

2) The background plays an important part in the digi pack as it is the back bone of the the digi pack and without this background the digi pack would look very plain and unappealing to my target audience. The colours will be a white and black background as to make the title and image appear more dominate on the cover.

3) This is the dominate image and will be the main feature of the cover also, the artists costume will be a mixture of red, white and pink to match the video and cover of the digi pack.

4) This is the artist name and is another feature that i will be using to make the targeted audience aware of the artists name too.

5) Is the track list and this is the dominate piece of information that will be given to the back of the digi pack as it lists all known songs on the CD and shows the audience what each one is called and if that song is featuring anyone or has any special features.

6) This is the background for the digi pack back. It's a simple but affective design because the circles are big, bright and target the female audience well due to the appearance of each one as they are coloured red, pink, orange and yellow which are much more feminine colours.

7) This is the bonus track and is a feature for the audience as it create more value as the audience are given an extra track for free.

8) The bar code is there to make the digi pack feel and look as if it is real and presents the digi pack in a positive way to the audience because of its realism.


9) These are a selection of images taken from the video and have been placed into the inside of the digi pack to show that the artist look modern and that her personality is colourful as this reflects to the digi pack too and makes them more alike.

10) This is a copy of the background from the digi pack back cover.

11) The circle image is to indicate where the cd will fit into and its shows how big and the size of it as well.

12) This is the backgound for each image. The backgorund will be coloured to fit with the accessorie that has been used such as the hair piece that i used is pink menaing that i wil give a pink tint to the backgound.

Filming Last Section...

Now that i have successfully completed all filming that I need I can concentrate on making the video and editing and finishing it all off. I'm also creating a better version of the digi pack to make it correspond with the video and make them look as if they belong together too. The main colours that will be featured and that will dominate the digi pack and video are red, pink and yellow as these are associated with females. However, Ive found a layout that I think looks affective and will draw the eye to the artist on the cover rather than the name as I feel it is important to make both look important but, I think the image should be dominate for example on Adele's and Rhianna's digi packs they are featured as the dominate image.

Accessories for the artist...

Accessories have been used in the production of the video because the artist will look very plain without a bit of colour form some where. Also, I  chose only particular colours so that they stay within the target audiences interests too. The colours that I used are pink, red, silver, light green, yellow, blue etc...

I chose these colours because the song is up beat and in my mind I picture a video for this song to be colourful, which is why I chose these colours. However, I also chose them because there all relatively feminine colours which is perfect for my target audience as well.

Filming today...

I'm going to be filming hopefully the rest of the video today, as I need to push on with the video and make sure that its finished before we break up and I want to make a proper start on the digi pack too.

Pushing On...

Pushing on with the video seems to be paying off well, I've now successfully produced the first minute for my video in the last week and it look good. Considering the song is about 2m 45sec I'm on target to finish the video as planned the next lot of filming will take place indoors now meaning that i have to organise a night after school hours to film in school.

Filming Part 1...

The filming of my new video has been produced to a good standing, I found my self having filmed a large part of the video in an hour. Meaning that i'm now one step closer to completing my video for the second time. I will also be putting some pictures up of the production and the ideas that i'm researching for my digi pack too. All this will be shown in my next blog.

Assistance...

My class mates has helped me with my video on 25th January 2012, this makes the amount that I have to film a bit lighter for me meaning less to do tomorrow. I will start fimling in the morning from 9.00am til 11.00am roughly so that I have enough time to gather any film footage that I need and any that I need from being outside. Due to the weather forecast I don't think that I will be outside for very long because of it being so cold and with my artist in a fleshy dress she will get cold quickly as well.

Filming Part 1...

Filming part 1 will take place on 28th January 2012, this staurday and I will be filming around school because its easy to get to and it doesnt cost me any money meaing I have more of a budgit to spend on the production of the video also. Filming will also take place on the 29th Jan and the following weekend. I'm also orginising to do after school work (filming) for the near future.

Costume...

These are the picture that I have taken of the costumes that will be worn on the day of filming. The dress I have used to symbolise that the character is very playful, energetic and has a colourful personality.

Story Boarding 2...

I have now made a second story board to replace the one form before, also my sister has agreed to be my main charcter/ artist for the vidoe and my media class mates have agreed to help where they can so this are looking up for the new video SO FAR!

Back Up Plan...

I have a backup plan reguarding my music video just incase something like this happened. I choose a second song called 'Hello' by Martin Solveig and Dragonette. I bought some other clothing for back-up and I have another person willing to do the video with me. The filming will be taken arougn school and inside the school too. I know that I am out of time with making a new video from scratch but, I have no other choice.

Major Problem...

In the process of creating my video two dance members have quit the project meaning I can no longer produce my video and without this I have no work to be marked.

Digi Pack 2...

My digi pack is coming along nicely and i'm pleased with the images and layout of it so far. The front cover is complete and the left inside is too. However, the back of the digi pack is prooving more difficult than I thought to be as I have to make the back standout as much as the front and to do this will take more planning.

Success...

I have now successfully completed half on my video and the remainder is performances now which will not take too long to film as the dance numbers are being reviewed often and I am hoping that I can get those students to help me after school hours in the hall so that we can have a longer amount of time to ensure that the filming that I will be doing is done to the best of there ability.
